The focus will be on painting roses, adding roses to your still life composition. The first few days will be spent on doing studies of roses, leaves and stems. Understanding their characteristics, how to simplify the rose, colors and textures of leaves and stems, and much more. We will be painting real roses, leaves and stems some from the garden at the school, others from my garden and when necessary from the florist. This will be a fun and challenging class.
